- Foreman to secure confined space operation entry permit and comply with detailed instructions / requirements specified in the work permit
- Perform air monitoring using oxygen analyzer
- Perform atmospheric testing to ensure within the safe level.
- Removal of toxic substances using pump or any other machine.
- Perform monitoring to ensure lower explosive limit or LEL < 10% safe.
- Gas cylinder should not be taken to the confined space.
- Provide adequate ventilation to ensure air circulation.
- Ensure wearing of the required PPEs.
- Standby supervision must be available at all times.
- Ensure visible warning barricade provided on the opening access / ladder or any means of man lift must be properly secured.
